Main Street Construction Detours, effective Tuesday, July 6, 2010 until further notice
Due to construction on Main Street between Turner Street and College Avenue and signal replacement at the intersection of Main Street and Washington Street, the Main Street, Harding Avenue, and Two Town Trolley - Blacksburg routes are on detour effective Tuesday, July 6, 2010 until further notice.
Bus Stops Closed
All Alumni Mall stops
El Rodeo and Stellar One stops on Main Street
For safety reasons, courtesy stops will not be made on Main Street.
Main Street Detour
Northbound from Fairfax
The route follows Prices Fork Road, Stanger Street, and the Drillfield to timecheck at Torgersen Hall before exiting campus as normal and continuing north.
Southbound from Whipple
The route follows Prices Fork Road and Stanger Street to timecheck at Burruss Hall. The route then utilizes West Campus Drive and Prices Fork Road to continue south as normal.
Hethwood Detour
Campus-bound from Ascot
The route follows Main Street, Prices Fork Road, and Stanger Street to timecheck at Burruss Hall before exiting campus as normal and continuing to Hethwood.
Harding Ave. Detour
Campus-bound from Tall Oaks
The route enters campus via Stanger Street and circles the Drillfield to timecheck at Torgersen Hall. The route then follows Stanger Street and Prices Fork Road to continue to Ascot as normal.
Two Town Trolley - Blacksburg Detour
Campus-bound from NRV Mall
The route follows Main Street, Prices Fork Road, Stanger Street, and the Drillfield to timecheck at Newman Library.
NRV Mall-bound from Newman Library
The route follows Stanger Street and Prices Fork Road to continue south on Main Street as normal.
Routes will adhere to their normal scheduled departure times, with the exception of the Harding Ave. route, which will depart campus at :15 and :45 past.
