About Us

Our buses cover ten major routes that include Blacksburg, Virginia Tech's campus, Christiansburg and parts of Montgomery County.  Major stops include downtown Blacksburg, Squires Student Center, Burruss Hall, Montgomery Regional Hospital, New River Valley Mall, Corporate Research Center, Gables Shopping Center, Hethwood and University Mall.  We carry approximately 3,000,000 riders per year, ridership continues to increase, averaging a 12 percent increase in FY 09 and FY 10.  On an average Virginia Tech football gameday we carry approximately 8,000 riders.  Bottom line:  Advertising with BT has the potential to reach thousands of people.

Advertising Options

We currently have three different options for advertising with BT.  Interior Advertising, Exterior Advertising (including wraps) and advertising in our print publications.

Interior ads are 11" x 17" laminated bus cards that are placed in slots near the ceilings of the vehicles.

Exterior ads are located on the outside of the bus.  Think of them as moving billboards.  You have the option of leasing month-to-month or by the year.
