Routes, Schedules & Maps: 2008 Service Changes

Route and Schedule Changes - Effective Sunday August 24, 2008

• CHANGED: Hethwood During Regular Service
  • The Hethwood route has increased frequency and will now operate every 12 minutes between the hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm.
    
• NAME CHANGE: Windsor Hills to Harding Ave
  • The Windsor Hills route has been renamed Harding Ave. The route itself has not changed.
    
• CHANGED: Break Weekday Main Street Service
  • Break Weekday service on Main Street has been increased to 30 minute frequency instead of once an hour.
    
• CHANGED: Break Weekday Hethwood/Harding Ave
  • Break Weekday service on Hethwood/Harding Ave has been increased to 30 minute frequency instead of once an hour.
    
• CHANGED: Break Weekday Tom’s Creek B
  • Break Weekday service to Tom’s Creek B has been added and will operate on 30 minute frequency.
    
• CHANGED: University Mall Shuttle
  • Regular Weekday service for the University Mall has been extended and will now operate until 9:00pm. The route will operate on 15 minute frequency from 9:00am until 6:30pm; from 6:30pm until 9:00pm the route will operate on 30 minute frequency. This route will no longer offer weekend service, however University Mall will still be accessible on weekends via the Toms Creek A and B routes.
    
• CHANGED: Hokie Express
  • The Hokie Express route will no longer service the Wallace parking lot.
    
• CHANGES: Stops on Main Street Route Northbound
  • The stop at the intersection of Whipple and Main has been eliminated.
  • Northbound - The north and southbound stops at the Patrick Henry Center have been eliminated.
  • Southbound - The stops on the southbound side of the street at the intersection of South Main and Ardmore/Marlington have been removed.
